Man and Winter
Man and Winter
The moon radiated darkness and grief.
The days became cold and harsh
And the night - Blemish, Mar and Maim
The Rose buds lost their joy and life
Never to bloom, love or to smile
Trees stood barren, fields all desolated
Rainbow turned black and dead as ember
The winter so fierce like never before
Even the heart that loved turned cold and dead
Didn't beat froze and darkness prevailed all over
Iris, Chloris all lost in dark from Zephyrus
The rotating stone lost it's course
Around it's star pathless in darkness
Frigid winter so powerful and robust
King and Warriors in fear lost their heart
The Red beating spunk turned white
Kiboshed the spirit and life inside
The soul in it rimed with frost
Alive but all frozen and to death
The Heavens, sun, moon and even
The oldest un-dimmed purest stars
All dead with this curse of winter
Men, Gods and life all motionless and dead
Dying for Warmth, life and Fire
